Description
Established in 1991, we are accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK and also a centre for Cambridge exams. Courses offered; General English, Business English, exam preparation courses for Cambridge and IELTS and specialised 1:1 lessons. We offer homestay accommodation or our own student accommodation. We place a strong emphasis on our students’ welfare and students’ happiness here is very important to us. Facilities include; computer room, library, language lab and student lounge. We are close to all transport links and surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops.

Accommodation
| Homestay: | Standard diet - single room with breakfast and dinner and full board at weekends. £93 per week. Kosher diet - single room with three meals everyday. £125 per week. |
| Residental Self Catered: | Single rooms from £85-120 per week, twin rooms from £115-140 per room per week (subject to availability). Exclusive to Manchester Academy of English. Students will share the kitchen, lounge and bathroom. All rooms have their own shower and some bedrooms have a shower and a toilet. |

Transfers
From Manchester Airport (about 20-30 minutes) for £60 one way.
Social Programme
During July and August, we arrange one half-day activity and one full-day excursion per week. Activities include: bowling, visits to museums, Liverpool, Blackpool, Lake District and Chester. Outside summer, social activities are run on a weekly basis and the variety of events makes sure that there is something of interest to everyone. Some excursions are also available at the weekend. We also have our own football team.
