Description
The University Language Centre has over over 30 years’ experience of running courses for international students and provides a range of English language courses throughout the year. The ULC is a UCAS Centre, a regional IELTS test centre and a centre for Cambridge (FCE, CAE, CPE) examinations. We provide homestay (Sept-June) and hall accommodation in the summer. We are situated close to Manchester city centre within 7 minutes walk of the main shopping and entertainment areas.

Accommodation
| Homestay: | Available September - June. £95 per week plus £30 arrangement fee. |
| Halls of Residence: | Available June - September. Standard self-catering: £63 per week, En-suite self-catering: £84 per week. Some hall accommodation may be available from Sept-June through the University Accommodation Office. |
Transfers
From Manchester Airport (20 minutes) for £35 one way.
Social Programme
From September - June students can participate in the trips and activities organised by the University International Society. From June - September the ULC arranges a programme of social events with trips every weekend. Trips are included in the course fees.
