Calderdale College is a state college of further education providing academic and vocational education for students aged 16 years and above. It is situated in the beautiful setting of the People's Park in Halifax. Calderdale College attracts students who want to live in a safe and friendly environment. Calderdale College offers year round English Language and English plus programmes combining English language studies with vocational skills. We also provide international students with pathways to university in the UK through University Foundation programmes, A levels, Higher National Diplomas.

Accommodation
| Homestay: | £85 per week. Host families provide breakfast and evening meal from Monday to Friday and breakfast, lunch and evening meals on Saturday and Sunday. |
| Private Rental Accommodation: | We can also help you in finding furnished rented houses. Prices vary from £295.00 up to £650.00 per month depending on the size of the house and the location. |
| The college has an Accommodation Officer who assists international students to find appropriate accommodation prior to their arrival according to requirements in Halifax and also supports you during your stay with different accommodation and welfare issues. |
Transfers

Social Programme
There are number of opportunities for students to get involved and make friends at Calderdale college. The college offeres an enrichment programme for all students. The programme offers a large and varied choice of activities from sport, chess, photography, film, yoga, aerobics and much more. The enrichment programme is free to all students. During Summer Programme all students can take part in a weekly programme of social and cultural excursions. This will help you practise your English in real situations, learn more about the Calderdale area and give you the opportunity to visit other parts of England.
